A New Single-Cell Hybrid Inductor-Capacitor DC-DC Converter for Ultra-High Voltage Gain in Renewable Energy Applications

In this paper, a new single-cell hybrid switched inductor DC-DC converter is proposed to demonstrate the verification of ultra-high voltage gain in renewable energy applications (REA). The modification involves adding single cell an with diode and double capacitor increase transfer gain. Additionally, helps prevent input current from becoming zero, pulsating at very low duty cycles. interleaved main switch reduce stress when charge becomes zero. Moreover, addition modified capacitor, operating dual boosting mode switch, allows achieve offers several advantages, including gain, high efficiency, on power MOSFETs, diodes, inductors, capacitors, as well switching conduction losses. Furthermore, utilizes transformerless non-coupled inductors. Mathematical equations have been derived for discontinuous (DCM) continuous (CCM) implemented using Matlab Simulink software validate results. addition, PI controller designed verify fixed output voltage. Experimental results also obtained 200 W prototype, varying between 20 V 40 V, efficiency 96.5%.
